When we say Science and Technology, we are not just referring to advanced gadgets and automated machines; we are also talking about food, medicines, and personal care products that are a bit too strong containing unnecessary chemicals for the needs of the human body.

Daily Cleansing Coconut Shampoo 250 ml

Shampoos that we normally use on a daily basis now come in various concentrations. However due to the basic need of the scalp and the hair, these chemically potent ingredients may prove harmful and do more damage than serve its purpose which is cleansing, primarily. Excessive hair fall, scalp irritation and dandruff are common reactions indicating that the skin is not responding well to the hair treatments.

Body Flavors believes in bathing and washing that is simple, hygienic and nature-friendly. Body Flavors Coconut Shampoo, a concoction that is clear with lavender extracts prove that washing the hair can be made basic and with a clean nice scent. It is gentle enough and regular use can prevent hair fall, dandruff and hair breakage.

Who says maintaining a beautiful and healthy hair has to be expensive?! Go natural with us!

Growing up in a traditional family in the province, every illness had an organic remedy for my grandparents and my entire family. Medicines were for last resort or for severe cases. Plants were also in abundance then and the greenhouse effect was not that famous yet.

Detoxifying & Cleansing Organic Body Bar 100g

I remember the time when my older brother caught a bad case of a skin problem on his back during the 90’s. I was still young and he would always beg for me to cleanse his back using the decoction of guava leaves that he boiled in water. It wasn’t a laborious task at all so looking back, I don’t understand why I whined. (Probably because it was time away from playing! hehe) A few weeks after, his back cleared and left the skin healthy again. Growing up, I would sometimes boil guava leaves and the fruit itself to wash minor wounds.

This memory would remind me how potent and very cost-effective natural treatments are. When I started Body Flavors, I know I had to make a soap with guava extracts in it. I don’t have to wonder why this soap has started to gain some popularity. Guava with Orange bits from Body Flavors is a coconut oil-based-soap with orange bits for detoxifying and cleansing the skin. Guavas being rich in Vitamin C is rich in natural astringents and antioxidants to fight against free radicals that cause wrinkles and skin diseases. Body Flavors Guava and Orange soap is way to getting naturally healthy looking skin.

Smoothening & Firming Organic Body Bar 100g

You are having a bad day and the insecurity will probably last for a week if you get pimples or a zit on your face. And admit it, these ever disturbing zits will grow on obvious areas such as the nose, cheeks, forehead or what is called the T-zone in the human face. Sometimes acne even love to inhabit the backs and for others on the chest. A very gross sight maybe but a painful reality.

There are already various medicines both oral and topical that are available in drugstores to treat this problem. But the truth is, they can be harsh on the skin especially when used as part of a routine. I am speaking for myself and several people I know. I went through this phase. Yes, my pimples were gone but an an early age the top layer of my skin was too thin that you could see through my veins. So I stopped using these chemicals and decided to just go natural because I didn’t want to look older than my age. Chemicals have the tendency shrink your skin, cause further irritation and harm to our skin and before we know it, it is too late.

We at Body Flavors are concerned about pimple-prone skin. We wish to give hope to people who have to bear this problem. Tea tree oil is recognized as a strong anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial agent while Seaweed because of the essential minerals that it contains has risen to fame as a cosmetic additive. Seaweed has various medicinal uses both internally and externally. Applied topically it can firm up and tone the skin as it helps exfoliate the upper layer composed of dead cells. It is also reportedly used in some areas to prevent the formation of stretch marks when pregnant.

Seaweed and molasses with tea tree oil soap is perfect combination for use on a regular basis to treat facial and body acne and other skin problems. It will surely nourish, enrich and moisturize the skin as it tones, tightens & firms up your skin.

Please try this combination and see for yourself how it works. Stay young!

Virgin Coconut Oil is considered a functional food but its uses don’t stop in our kitchen. It provides nourishment and is also used to treat a variety of ailments. The term nutraceutical is thus associated with Virgin Coconut Oil for its nutritional and its medicinal value. Because of its natural properties, it is not toxic and it does not have side effects like some drugs. There are several topical uses of Virgin Coconut Oil. It is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal thus effective in treating skin problems. Its moisturizing and deodorizing effect on the skin ranks high compared to chemical-rich-personal care products.

There are several skin types and the aim of Body Flavors Enterprises is to cater to most of these skin flavors, if not all. Various preparations of Virgin Coconut Oil has already been made available to the market and it is widely used by health – conscious people. I am thankful to VCO myself because this was the only oil that was able to treat a bad case of food allergy I had months ago. And I did not have scars from that! An so I thought, we should create something with the properties of VCO that can be part of our daily hygiene. With sufficient research and testing, we came up with a solid VCO preparation, in the form of an organic bar.

Body Flavors’ Pure Virgin Coconut Oil soap is sprinkled with natural gugo bark which is known for its moisturizing and smoothening effect as well. To get a very nice clean scent, sandalwood essential oil was added. This mild blend resulted in an organic body bar that is perfect for sensitive skin.

“You are half pretty when you are fair skinned…”

This might sound a little absurd to some people around the world but to most Filipinos, this is true. The success of skin whitening creams, lotions, injectibles and oral medications signifies that the Western concept of beauty in terms of skin color has finally seeped down to all classes in the society.

Whitening & Exfoliating Organic Body Bar 210g

Recently, I have been spending more time with my Personal Trainer after work-out because we have been brewing a marketing plan for my organic soaps. When he introduced me to a group of self-counsciuos people, I was appalled when I found out how they arrived to such flawless skins and almost-perfectly contoured bodies. They were buying whitening injectibles, creams, and other chemically-rich beauty products just like they were buying Vitamins over the counter. I could’t believe it! I thought only famous celebrities, models and other TV figures go through such harsh procedures. I couldn’t help but wonder, what about the chemicals in these beauty products? Obviously our body would’nt be able to flush them out as fast as the they were able to give the whitening effects.

So I decided, I will create my own whitening line under the company that I have started more than a month ago. My products are under the label “Body Flavors” to suit every person’s skin flavor. All products are organic so they are friendly to nature and the skin as well. I came up with a combination of a whitening agent papaya because it is rich in enzymes that naturally inhibits melanin production which we know determines skin color of the person. We combined it with orange for its natural anti-oxidants to protect the skin from free radical damage known to cause signs of aging. The squalene oil from shark liver oil provides a natural moisturizing effect on the skin.

An Orange papaya with squalene organic soap is a perfect choice of a whitening and anti-aging soap. The effect on the face and body may not be overnight because you have to wait for at least two weeks to a month for a noticeable effect but the guarantee is you are not putting harsh chemicals to your skin.

Cheers to natural beauty!
